Astrophotography

moon GIFAfter retirement, I developed a passion for astrophotography as a result of my time as Dean of Math and Sciences at Ventura College after the evaluation of one of our terrific astronomy professors. Things I don't know have always fascinated me and he was presenting a lecture on moon wobble. WOW, I never knew that! And so it began; lunar and solar eclipses,  the moon, planets, comets, and deep-space objects are all fair game. We started  chasing eclipses in 2012 in Cains, Australia and I was hooked.
